Delivery, Pickup & Shipping Policy

Service Area
We offer scheduled pickup and delivery service within an approximately 300-mile radius of 356 Middlesex Turnpike, Old Saybrook, CT 06475. Availability may depend on the destination, product, order size, vehicle requirements, weather, staffing, road conditions, and applicable restrictions.
We may decline a location or order that cannot be served safely, lawfully, or reasonably.
Scheduling
All customer pickups and deliveries must be scheduled in advance with the customer.
Dates and arrival windows are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed time in writing. We may need to reschedule because of severe weather, unsafe conditions, road closures, equipment issues, plant-care requirements, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery and Pickup Charges
Any applicable delivery, pickup, handling, or special-equipment charge will be displayed during checkout or communicated to the customer before the service is confirmed.
Additional charges may apply if the customer changes the destination, changes the order, requests additional labor, or if site conditions materially differ from the information provided when the service was scheduled.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate contact, destination, access, and scheduling information.
The customer must ensure that the location is safe and reasonably accessible for our staff and vehicles. This includes disclosing narrow roads, steep grades, low clearances, stairs, gates, soft ground, utility lines, restricted access, or other hazards.
Unless other arrangements are confirmed in advance, the customer or an authorized adult should be present to accept delivery or release items for pickup.
If service cannot be completed because no authorized person is available, access is blocked, information is inaccurate, or conditions are unsafe, we may reschedule the service and charge an additional fee.
Inspection and Problems
Please inspect products promptly at delivery or pickup. Report visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible and include photographs when available.
Live plants naturally vary in size, shape, color, bloom, and growth. These natural differences are not necessarily defects.
Carrier Shipping
Unless a product page or written order confirmation expressly states otherwise, products are delivered or picked up through our scheduled local service and are not shipped by common carrier.

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

Overview
This policy applies to purchases from He Did He Did LLC d/b/a Old Saybrook Garden Center, including purchases made through https://www.oldsaybrookgardencenter.com, by telephone, or at our garden center.
Plant Returns
Plants may be returned within seven (7) calendar days after the date of purchase.
To request a return, contact us using the information below or bring the plant to the garden center. Please provide information that allows us to verify the purchase, such as a receipt, order confirmation, or purchaser name.
Returned plants are subject to inspection. We may ask for information about the plant’s care, location, and condition so that we can process the request appropriately.
Winter Plant Storage Guarantee
Winter Plant Storage includes a plant guarantee while the plant is in our care. If a covered plant is damaged, declines, or is lost while in our care, we will, at our option, replace the plant, refund the applicable amount paid, or provide a combination of replacement and refund.
A replacement may be a reasonably comparable plant based on species, size, condition, season, and availability. If a comparable replacement is unavailable, a refund may be provided instead.
The guarantee applies while the plant is in our custody under the Winter Plant Storage service. It does not cover conditions arising after the plant has been returned or delivered to the customer.
Cancellations
Once payment has been accepted, an order or service reservation cannot be canceled by the customer.
If we are unable to fulfill an order or service, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund for the amount we are unable to fulfill.
The no-cancellation rule does not limit any return or refund right expressly provided under this policy or required by applicable law.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing times may vary by bank or payment provider.
Delivery, pickup, labor, installation, or other service charges are refundable only if we do not provide the applicable service, unless otherwise required by law.

The customer is responsible for applicable taxes, delivery charges, pickup charges, and other disclosed fees.
Once payment is accepted, customer cancellation is not permitted, subject to our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
Delivery, Pickup, and Services
Delivery and pickup are governed by our Delivery, Pickup & Shipping Policy. Service appointments and timeframes may depend on weather, safety, access, plant-care needs, staffing, and conditions beyond our reasonable control.
The customer must provide safe and suitable access. We may stop or decline work when conditions are unsafe or materially different from what the customer disclosed.
Plant Care and Winter Storage
Plants are living products whose health depends on watering, light, temperature, soil, drainage, pests, handling, and other conditions outside our control after transfer to the customer.
Specific guarantees apply only when expressly stated in writing. The Winter Plant Storage guarantee is described in our Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
General care information is educational and is not a guarantee of a particular result.
Website Use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You may not interfere with security or operation, introduce harmful code, scrape the site without permission, impersonate another person, make fraudulent purchases, or misuse website content.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy, Delivery, Pickup & Shipping Policy, and any written order or service terms, form the agreement regarding the website and applicable purchase or service.
